How Much Do Outdoor Umbrellas Cost in Dubai? 2026 Price Guide

Outdoor umbrella prices in Dubai run from a few hundred dirhams for a supermarket parasol to tens of thousands for a motorised giant umbrella over a hotel terrace. The gap is not marketing; it is frame engineering, canopy fabric, base weight and warranty. These are our current prices and the reasons behind them. The full range is on our outdoor umbrellas in Dubai page.

What drives the price

The frame. A centre pole carries its canopy in pure compression, which is cheap to engineer. A cantilever carries the same canopy on a lever arm, so the mast, arm, joints and rotating base are all heavier and more complex. That is most of the difference between AED 2,500 and AED 9,500.

The canopy. Solution-dyed acrylic costs several times more than polyester but keeps its colour for years under Dubai UV. A cheap umbrella is usually cheap here first.

Size and wind rating. Every extra metre of canopy multiplies the wind load. Our heavy-duty cantilevers are rated to around 60 km/h; that rating is engineered in and paid for.

Warranty and parts. Our Italian-made umbrellas carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty with spare parts and service in Dubai. A disposable umbrella has neither, so its real price includes its replacement.

Where cheap umbrellas fail

Faded canopies after one summer, bent ribs after the first shamal, painted steel frames rusting beside a pool, and bases too light for the canopy they carry. Replacing a AED 600 umbrella every year costs more over five years than one teak centre pole, and far more in a commercial setting where every failure is a guest complaint.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an outdoor umbrella cost in Dubai?

From AED 1,800 for a Balinese centre pole umbrella, AED 2,500 to 2,700 for teak centre poles, and AED 7,950 to 9,850 for Italian cantilever umbrellas. Giant and motorised umbrellas are quoted per project.

How much is a cantilever umbrella in Dubai?

Our Italian cantilever umbrellas are AED 7,950 (Ischia), AED 8,500 (Capri), AED 9,500 (Rodi) and AED 9,850 (Singolo).

Why are cantilever umbrellas more expensive than centre pole?

The canopy hangs from a lever arm, so the mast, arm, joints and rotating base must be far stronger than a simple centre pole. The engineering is most of the price difference.

Are bases included in the umbrella price?

No. Bases from 40 to 180 kg, ground anchorage, custom canopies and logo printing are quoted separately.

Is a cheap umbrella worth buying in Dubai?

Rarely. Polyester canopies fade in one summer and light frames bend in the first strong wind, so a AED 600 umbrella replaced yearly costs more over five years than one quality teak umbrella.
