Tivoli Travertine & Fluted Oak Dining Table

The Tivoli is a racetrack dining table with a natural travertine top on two fluted solid oak pedestals. At 240 cm long, 100 cm wide and 75 cm high, it seats 8 comfortably, and it is made to order in our Al Quoz workshop in Dubai.

The oval top has soft, rounded ends and a thick bullnose edge, so there are no sharp corners and everyone at the table feels part of the conversation. It rests on two round pedestals wrapped in solid oak reeds, whose fluted rhythm catches the light and gives the table its sculptural, architectural look. With the pedestals set in from the ends, the long sides stay free of legs and chairs slide in anywhere.

Why Travertine?

Travertine is a natural limestone that takes its name from Tivoli, the town near Rome where it has been quarried since Roman times. Its soft, warm tones and gentle natural veining bring a calm, organic feel to a dining room, and because it is a natural stone, every top is unique.

A Solid Fluted Oak Base

Each pedestal is built from solid oak reeds, shaped and finished in our workshop. Oak is strong, stable and hard-wearing, and its warm grain pairs beautifully with the pale stone. The base can also be made in walnut or a darker oak stain.
