Amara Scalloped Velvet Bed
The Amara is a made-to-measure upholstered bed with a scalloped, cloud-shaped headboard, a contrast velvet border and a fully upholstered platform base. Its soft arched silhouette nods to the shapes found in Arabian and Moorish architecture, reinterpreted in blush velvet for a calm, romantic bedroom.
 
Made to order in our Al Quoz workshop, the Amara can be produced in any mattress size, in any fabric from our upholstery library and with the headboard panel in a plain or patterned textile of your choice.

Ready-made bed frames rarely fit UAE mattress sizes or the proportions of a villa master bedroom. The Amara is built around your mattress, whether that is a standard king, a 200 x 200 cm super king or an oversized custom size, so the frame sits exactly as it should with no gaps and no wasted floor space.
 
A Scalloped Headboard with Contrast Piping
The defining feature of the Amara is its three-lobed scalloped headboard. A padded velvet border frames a recessed centre panel, giving the headboard depth and a tailored, couture finish. The border can be made in the same fabric as the base or in a contrasting colour, and the inset panel is ideal for a patterned or textured fabric that becomes the focal point of the room.
 
Velvet, Boucle, Linen or Your Own Fabric
The bed shown is upholstered in a dusty blush cotton velvet. The same design works beautifully in boucle, chenille, linen-look weaves, mohair velvet or a performance velvet for family homes. If you have a fabric from an interior designer or a sample from another supplier, we can upholster the Amara in it.
 
Solid Timber Frame, Built in Dubai
Every Adams bed is built on a kiln-dried solid timber frame with a slatted or solid base to suit your mattress, then padded with high-density foam and finished by hand in our Al Quoz workshop. The bed is delivered and assembled by our own team anywhere in Dubai and across the UAE.
 
Complete the Bedroom
Pair the Amara with our bedside tables, a matching upholstered bench at the foot of the bed, fitted wardrobes or a walk-in wardrobe. We can also make a coordinating headboard-only version for an existing divan base.
